We are located in beautiful, but cold, Edmonton Alberta Canada.
Mel (or deadcat) is the head seamstress, knittress (knitter sounds too boring) and creative designer for Black Tea. She is self-taught and has been sewing, creating, knitting, and designing for over sixteen years. Her strengths lie in her details, finishing, and being stubborn enough to only work with the highest quality materials. Mel is sometimes eccentric and known to have a weakness for cute dead things.
She began to design for Asian Ball-Joint Dolls (BJD's or dollfies) in 2008 and looks forward to expanding this part of her portfolio.
